A Letter from the President
Dear Ladies,
I am so honored to be
the President of the Newcomers Club of Marco Island.
This organization is so
full of energetic, fascinating and talented women from all walks of
life. But what many people do not realize is the service we
provide to this community. We are the largest and most active
women's social organization on Marco Island and we give women who are
new to the island a place to make friends and find activities to fill
their lives. We have many members who have had a hard time
adjusting to moving here and being away from their friends and families
who are still up North. We also have several members who have
found themselves suddenly alone after the death of their spouse.
Newcomers has given all of these women the friendship, love and
support to help them get through these challenges. Our Mini-Clubs
and Special Events give all of our members plenty of things to do.
I know that I personally have never been so busy, even when I was
working full-time up North.
If you are a current
member of Newcomers, thank you for your contributions and support.
If you are considering joining Newcomers, I do hope you decide to
attend a luncheon and see what we have to offer; you will be happy you
did.
